  Susan Wickersham

After graduating from Cleveland, I went to Cal Berkeley and graduated in ’64 with a major in politics and economics.  Then went to work on Capital Hill in Washington, DC., during the time Barry Goldwater was running for president.  (At least the careers I picked were anything but boring).  I married shortly after that, and had 2 children.  Later, we divorced & I moved to Arizona with the kids, and have been in AZ for the last 30 years.  I married my second husband, Darrell, 10 years ago; we live in the desert among cactuses and saguaros.  I am still working, as a loan officer with a mortgage company, and we run something similar to a bed and breakfast in our guest house.

Don’t we all feel lucky to have had the privilege of going to Cleveland High?, and to have lived in the 50’s like the movie, “American Grafitti”?…..what wonderful years those were!  I sure look forward to seeing everybody at the 2010 reunion

I became a computer specialist and senior IT manager and retired from Microsoft in 1999. I now own small businesses and do marketing research and web development for customers. In between I squeezed in becoming the grandma of 10 and a 16 year marriage with my second and current husband, Carl Hoog.
