	The 50th class reunion of the Empezars will be held April 30 - May 2 at the Palm Garden Hotel in Thousand Oaks CA Make lodging reservations on your own. Be sure to make reservations early. If you prefer to stay elsewhere here is a list of local hotels and RV parks. Invitations will be sent out the first week of January. Be sure that we have your current snail mail address. Send changes to Diane Langen Bland. They have now been sent. Email if you did not get one.

	We have a limited block of rooms associated with our banquet booking. Call the above number to book. I was able to find similar rates through Expedia and Hotels.com at this same hotel. Checking both of those sites there are less expensive hotels nearby if you have transportation.
	Reunion costs: $80 per person		This covers the use of hotel facilities and the reunion dinner on Saturday night Optional costs: $10/person for the picnic Borderline dinner on Friday night, you order, you pay them

	Schedule
	April 30	Check In - Please sign in at hotel lobby for your schedule and name tag, anytime Friday PM or on Saturday.
		Informal meet in bar and reception area
		5:30 PM - ? Gather at Borderline Bar and Grill Join us in our own room at the Borderline for self host dinner and bar as well as western dance lessons. They will be opening this room early for us

	May 1	11 AM - 2 PM Picnic Lunch Conejo Creek Park We will have lunch delivered to this park and in addition to eating and visiting we will have stations set up to meet with classmates from various shared activities - such as Northridge Elementary School and the Football team. Bring your memorabilia to share. Make a reservation so we know how many lunches to order.
	May 1	The big reunion dinner 6 - 9 PM Palm Garden Hotel Buffet dinner, program, chance to visit some more. Some of our teachers will be attending as our guests! Use Map to Hotel at top of page.
	May 2	Breakfast 9 at the hotel. Free for guests
